A former National Media Spokesperson for the Consumer Electronics Association and the author of "The Multimedia Producer's Bible" (IDG Books), Ron has been a nationally syndicated consumer electronics columnist for such periodicals as New York Newsday and The Los Angeles Times, and has written extensively on CE for Entertainment Weekly, Popular Science, Playboy, Sound & Vision and Home, among many other publications. His expertise has been featured nationally on CNN, ABC, NPR, Fox News and MTV, as well as through regional television and radio, and his work has been translated into four languages. In 1995, Ron co-founded the Web's first large-scale consumer electronics site etown.com, where he pioneered many of the conventions that define the online CE experience to this day.
